Intuition

Whether we call it gut feelings, a 'sixth sense,' or something else, we have all experienced intuition at one time or another. Of course, gut feelings are often wrong (how many times during aircraft turbulence have you been sure your plane was going down?), but they do seem to be right much of the time. Psychologists note that people subconsciously pick up information about the world around us, leading us to seemingly sense or know information without knowing exactly how or why we know it. But cases of intuition are difficult to prove or study, and psychology may only be part of the answer. So..........


I was in a fast food restaurant , 2 business men were talking .. I did overhear " No one will steel from us - a manager .. Well I said OMG what if it is my Aunt K ....NO why would it be? We are a 1/2 block away from her store though ?? I had a yucky feeling.Later no one could get a hold of my Aunt K . My Mom told me she was in jail . I asked for theft at work ? She said OMG Why would you ask me that ?? 100% correct.

I told Guy and lilp about both.... First thing was I had a feeling one of Guy's Daughters is pregnant. YES we were told on Thanksgiving @ 8 weeks along.
2nd thing was , Guy's Granddaughter ... I had feeling of D-I-V-O-R-C-E the BIG D . She just came out on Facebook.. YES getting divorced .

I pulled over to take a picture , X-mas Lights. I said maybe I just got out of a ticket ? I go a few blocks and I see the Sheriff on the side of the road , at 6:15 in the am.. Big Jerk ... LOL did not get a ticket though .

Interesting to read about but that's about as far as it goes with me. I have times when I think I have "something" but it is more of a problem than a gift. Now if I lived in Vegas, then it would come in handy. In my current job, I really don't need it or wouldn't use it, since people are usually so open when seeing their therapist.

I have both Empathy and Sympathy... But I know mine runs deeper than this.

I love being asleep - love my bed time and could stay there 23 hours a day like a cat! lol

But my dreams are nothing special and I think they are really just sent to confuse me for the most part lol

LOL , I understand that AS.. I tend to wanna over analyse too , can get confusing !

Ralphs dad passed over three days ago, I hadnt been sleeping well just before then and still arent. We are ok, but you know how your mind runs away with you at night time. I kinda would like for him to appear and tell me he's happy and understands some things. Would be nice

I hear it can take a while to see people after he or she has passed over if at all .. I understand , it would be incredible to see my Dad in my dreams !

Yeah I had read somewhere that it can take up to 6 months - although I did read an article today where Whitney Houstons mum thinks shes haunting her already lol.

Some folks reall yhave "it" or "something" that they can foretale specific or general events, that might or might not be directly affecting them.[/color] diectly or indirectly.( Brief aside, I wish the size of FONTS, would not stop changing as posts are being related. There I said it for that, the accuracy of size might help too) Other claim to be good as "guessers" or "guessing things", as my g. mother used to say but she claimed to be a witch, so her comment can be taken based on the source. I might have ssomeof it but mine seems tto be directed toward choosing the 1 best color to do a part of a painting with and nothing else. Sorry, no stories of winning loads of money.

I think that everybody has it latent within his inner self. The problem is to awaken the consciousness. Sometimes it need to have a ghost sighting or some paranormal experience to awaken so-called supernatural capabilities. Sometimes it needs a serious event in ones life.
The awakening serves to confront you with yourself, what you are, who you are and how to cope with all that.
The worst thing you can do is to deny your capabilities. Try to live with them. They are part of you. Try to employ them whenever you feel to. Accept them as your own and not as something strange that does not belong to. Do not fear them and do not be skeptic about when you know that you have it.
Even if others might call you insane, it is not their life, it is yours. At least only you have to find yourself because you will have to live with yourself all your life and with no-one else.

Oh I've found myself, it's hoping that a female of the species will find herself in finding me, if you know what I mean?

I have been walking the hall at work and walk up to something .. like a picture on a wall or reach up and grab something that doesn't belong that I could not see. I just felt it ... If you know what I mean.. I find Pens and Nick knacks .. odd things Employees hide or residents ditch..

I find Im most in tune with my intuition when Im ghost hunting. Probably because I allow myself to be. However, looking back at my life I have missed several potentially advantageous events by not trusting my first intuition and changing my mind on things. Those experiences are what made me 'try' to become more connected to my intuition - something which I am still working on but feel I have made good steps towards.

I also agree that everyone has the potential to become highly attuned to their intuition - but a lot of us just dont take the time.
