As a fisherman myself who often fishes at night alone this one really hit home. The man was at a lake in Illinois fishing in June of 2009 when he noticed the feeling of being watched, and that the sounds of the night had gone silent all the sudden. After the creepy feeling became overpowering he left and went into town. He later came back out to the same spot to figure out what it was, and that's when he saw it.

All I can add is I've had experience where I felt an odd uneasy feeling out at night like this, and there are some places along White River I won't go to by myself because of it. I ain't chicken, I'm just sayin' LOL.

In this case he says its BF related, but in some cases could it not just be other 'weird' people? Ever feel youre being stalked? lol

I was stalked once by something unknown. I was out deer hunting with my ex but my ex was about 1/2 to a 1/4 of a mile away from me. The sun was starting to set but it was still light out. I packed up and headed towards the house. I was hungry. LOL… We were hunting in the back woods on my parents land. I was about 3/4 of a mile into the woods. While walking down the sandy path I could hear something following me to my left, keeping in perfect steps with me. Something big and heavy. I stopped suddenly and the thing following me would take one extra step because it didn’t know I was going to stop. I did this 3 or 4 times in about a 150 foot distance to make sure I was being followed and not imagining it and every time it was always the same thing… that 1 extra heavy step.

I was in an area of new growth so there was only saplings/thin trees around me. Nothing big enough for anyone to hide behind. I though for sure it was another hunter stocking me. Being a 100 lbs female in the woods alone during hunting season is really not a good thing. LOL..

I searched all around with my eyes trying to see someone with a orange vest but couldn’t see anyone. If I saw him I was going to warn him that there was another hunter not too far away and that he was on private land, to leave. Being brave because I had a rifle, I left the path and entered the woods towards where the trees were a little bigger/thicker where I though I was hearing the foot steps but didn’t see anything. And I didn’t hear anything running away.

It was definitely something heavy on 2 feet following me. After I investigated for a few minutes I headed back down the path. It wasn’t following me anymore. It never dawned on me that it might have been a bigfoot. I really didn’t know very much about them and didn’t even know that there was even a very slight chance that there could have been bigfoot’s in the area. I only read years later that there was a couple of sighting about 50 miles south of us. If it was another person then he was a total idiot for roaming in the woods without a orange jacket during hunting season. I should have been able to see him because he sounded very close for me to be able to hear him. Anyways, it was very strange.

Blue Rose that is really creepy. I would have been really on edge in that situation.
