a new phone , I use the old flip phone. What do you use and what is the best one on the market ?
Maybe it has to do with the service too - Sprint , ATT , Verision etc.

I use Verizon and have been very happy with their service, although whenever you change something they're guaranteed to mess up the billing and it takes at least a month to straighten it out.
My phone is an LG 8500 (I think... it might be an 8650). I'm happy with it but I'm sure there's new technology out there.
And I just use my phone as a phone. Drives my textish friends nuts. They'll send me a text, ask me if I got their message and I'll be like "what message? no..." because we blocked texting altogether.

I just find it all too annoying lol.

They're exchanging it so we'll see...
Wasn't my idea to get it, all Ineed is a phone that'll call people.

I agree ShadowSot , keep it simple. All I need it to dial out , receive calls and/or have Voice mail get it ! My brothers have high tech
phones and it is a touch screen . I can not figure it out, or I touch the wrong areas etc...

Not to mention it saved me over $100 a month for me and my daughter!!
Inside this body is a thin woman screaming to get out. That's okay, I can usually shut her up with chocolate

I'm eligible for a new one now but I'm not going to get one just yet because my old one still works fine and if I break my old one (or get it wet more likely) I can just go to the nearest Verizon dealer and cash in my "new every two" which is what they call their plan. If you have been with Verizon for 2 years and your contract expires they will give you a free or discounted new phone ***IF*** you sign another 2 year deal.

Hey, if you don't mind me being nosy how much is the data plan etc for an Iphone. I am considering MAYBE going with an Iphone or a Droid next time around but I don't know if I really want to pay internet at the house and on the phone too. I'm trying to be frugal these days if you know what I mean.
