This kind of a poll might sound a bit strange to you. Well, I have to admit that there is a reason behind. When you would like to, you can closer explain your votings e.g. why you think that this is a curse / blessing respectively why do you think special abilities exist. That would in some way help me a great deal.

The background is short words is that in the last month I consulted a lot of astrologists and readers for having my free readings. At least I have consulted five. The last one on 14th April which I found here in the ads of this new style... Some things varied but there were also things that were conform with all five readings. Some things were pointed out as positive that I would not see so much as positive and the other way round. So perhaps you share positive/negative things with me? Some curses or some blessings?

I am also very interested in the opinion of Lilp because she is a psychic.

Well, I know that I am now at a turning point of my life and you will all help me a great deal with answering the poll / maybe explaining your answers.....

Wow theres some thinking there Wabun.

I must say my answer is the same for the first two: I am blessed and cursed by being a 'normal' human being. (whatever normal is on a scale, but for the sake of this I am considering it as not having any of the abilities listed in the third option.)

I have chosen the same because for me, its a curse to be a normal human sometimes - dealing with mental illness is never easy. But its a blessing that I am able to keep that side of me to myself, or among people I feel comfortable enough around to know. Its also a blessing cos it could be so much worse for me.

The last one, a little harder to explain. I am not 'psychic' I dont have 'ESP' but I have ticked that box. Simply because I have flashes of those talents occasionally - as I believe we all can and do, but dont always notice. I have been around talented psychics enough for them to have told me I could be reasonably good if I took the time to learn and develop myself. But as of yet, thats not a path I have chosen to take :)

Thanks for you answer, asylum. Even that is some kind of phenomenon. I react to nearly everything I think myself capable talking about, but when I ask for an advice or an opinion, there in 80% of the cases is none. Fortunately, this time it has been one.
I have no problems with being otherkin, but I cannot cope with being psychic....not always. Times back when only a few people said that I would be psychic I was glad that it was nearly one-sided....so I thought I could get rid off it or part of it some time. It was not my intention to test free readers/readings. I only wanted to test two, if they would be conform. Well, and they all felt some vibrations and aura and things like that. That really makes me sad....there are so many things that happened in my and so many other lives...

Would mind me talking to you about some points when I am in need to by writing you PMs? Well, I know that this is a stupid question. You surely say "Yes" and I surely won't use this offer when is too hard to bother you.

Myself I checked Remote Viewing..although I dont have it all the time and when I do its not voluntary..I cant control it what so ever. I dont have it all the time..I get it once in a great while. It has to be quiet for it to happen and it has to be dark where I am except for a little light like from out side coming in from a street light or a night light or something small like that. It seems that a little soft very soft glowing light is needed for me to see with in my eye lids..not bright light to where I can see the vains and what not in the lids but just enough for a soft glow with in. I know that doesnt sound right but thats how it works for me..thats what I have noticed when it does happen. The last time it happened I was watching two people in a office setting..a woman at a desk working and talkin to some man that was standing against a wall...it was like I was viewing them thru a cam ...and I did get scared when the man felt me watching and started towards me looking in my direction..how he knew I was there I have not a clue. It made me very uncomfortable ...and I felt like I was intruding on them..and opened my eyes real quick and then closed them again and they were gone. Couldnt see a thing after that. I can never hear anything when this does happen..I only can see. Thats remote viewing isnt it..some say that is Astral projection. What exactly is the diff between the two?

Yes, that is right, when practising some kind of OBE you are intruding into someone or something. And the word Viewing means just seeing and not hearing. It is a pity that it comes unvoluntarily. That will always make you feel uncomfortable because you will never know when it comes. I think it is just a matter of acceptance. You have this ability and it is part of you. Do not deny it but train it. The more you train it the more you can use it controlled and the less you will be afraid of. And training is not complicated, not at all. You just have to reach calmness and relaxation. And the best thing to achieve it, is meditation (all kind and forms of).

Of course, there is a difference between the two, even if both of them belong to the OBE. When you are doing astral projection you are leaving your physical body and moving into an astral body. But to differenciate from astral travelling, this astral body is still connected to your physical body by a silver cord. It is some kind of astral travelling seeing places and people but being still attached.

Remote Viewing is just a simple form of OBE. Only your consciousness or your soul are leaving your physical body. It is also called Remote Perception and can also be put into the range of clairvoyance on an OBE-basis. You perceive and see things, places, people from where you are but what you see lies in a spatial or temporal distance.

I think what ever special thing you have or can do is a blessing from GOD . The curse is the fact that , you have to tell people things , that might
scare , hurt or shock someone. Also the fact that some people might think you are "weird " " crazy" what have you. I say keep your chin up , you

I've always considered the most powerful blessing a human can have is understanding.

The best example I can think of is Batman. How does he achieve what usually only a powered being can? He understands weaknesses, actions, motivations, and so on better than a powered being does, the donkey kickery aside. As absurd as it is to use him as an example, I think it makes sense this way.
