Ok Im changing from Cable One to Qwest 1.7.

Does anyone one know who this is going to effect the speed on the Net?

Any advice on what to expect???

Sorry to say.. ive heard the same thing. The only thing is the majority of people I have heard who hated qwest were avid gamers.. the normal joe's i know who just use it to browse the interenet and maybe look up a movie time or two havent had any complaints.

here in phoenix the primary internet provider i think is cox then qwest. I run cox and i love it :D


There website should have more specifics on avg download/upload speeds. Is there any specifics you were looking for? Have you chatted with any neighbors/friends to see if they have it and how there speed is?

I wish I could help ya out..but never heard of this Qwest thing. We have only Windstream,Gurulink,Warner Cable here, and somethin called Dragon something or other. I wish ya luck hun.

I worked for Verizon for two years. They are ok but not great. I use SBC Yahoo.

Well I have Qwest now.. I had Cox it seem to be a little faster hmm?? But I dont like how or what has to be installed to get it. I dont like Windows Live and its all apart of the installation No Choice Grrr.

But it seems to be working Grate though.

The funny thing is I got home today and my Qwest modem was at the dor lol and on the door was a flyer saying we have cable now on are street starting today LMAO!
