A man who was beaten to death with a large chain in the 1800's is buried in Bonds Chapel Cemetery in Orange Co., Indiana. Since his death and burial a stain or discoloration of the stone in the shape of chain links has appeared on his tombstone. Some people say the "chain" grows a new link each year.
