I saw a shadow boy about nine months ago. I was in my daughter's house standing in her kitchen. All of a suden I saw a shadow of a boy, walk in front of me . I saw a side view of him and he reminded me of my eldest son when he was around twelve years old. He had the same buster brown haircut. I watched him for a good six seconds before he disapperd through the slideing glass door. He never noticed me.

I saw a shadow person when I was about 6 years old. I remember playing in my room and looking out the door of my room into the hall and seeing a dark 'shadowey' or semi-translucent shape that was vaguely human glide by. The shape was vaguely human but the profile of the head was not. It seemed to jut out in a few places - almost as if it was the shadow of someone wearing a hat and a high colared jacket with a sharp jaw. I told my parents and they called the police and the police searched the house and found nothing. Of course, I knew they wouldn't.
I was told it was most likely shadows or reflections from the street, but now that I am older and I think about the window placement and other features of the house, there is no way that what I saw was reflections or shadows from the outside. I had never seen anything like it. I have never seen one again either.

Well when I was about 11yo I was staying at my mom's boy friends place in the room there was a long dark hall way it didn't seem right that night felt as something was there the couch I was sleeping on was right outside the hallway against the wall on the side of the entrance to it so I wasn't looking down the hall I was looking at the side of the entrance well I kept staring I couldn't sleep then the Shadow walked into the light in the living room and I was first like of its my mom's bf's kid but he was staying in another room on the other side of the place well I noticed it was Void black but with a fuzzy outline it cast no shadow and no light would penetrate or reflect of it and it waved at me so being a freaked out kid I was scared stiff we we're staring at each other for a long time I noticed it had no facial features at all just black and I just felt Dread so when I finally got enough courage to run as soon as I looked back it was gone. I'll never forget that day and I don't see with that much visual proof people don't look into it more.

When I was 9 years old, my first incounter with a shadow person was when I woke up in the middle of the night around 3 to 4 in the morning to use the restroom. After I finished I walked back into the room... hopped into my bed and realised someone was standing next to the window(about 6 feet away from my bed). I couldn't make out who it was because he/she was so dark, but had look like a person. At first i thought it was my cousin(his names is Sok). So I kept saying "Sok..Sok, what are you doing standing there?" I started waving my right hand and it waved back at me. We waved at each other for at least 5 minute straight. Nothing else was happening so I decided to go back to sleep. Next morning I asked my cousin why he was up so late last night. He told me he was asleep the whole time.

I've seen starnge things my whole life, but recently (last year) I saw a shadowperson walking uop my neighbor's front steps. I doubletook, and he was looking back at me. I was instantly mortified and feared for my life. I believe that these are spirits who do not want to be identified, for what they have done, or what they are here to do. Anything that cannot show its true form should not be trusted.

We have had a shadow figure in our home on-and-off over the last several years. I first saw it twice as a blob of smoke floating through our den. My young daughter saw it with me one of those times. A few years later I saw the figure in full body - dark shadowing man with a hat - standing outside our bedroom door. I never told the kids. Recently my 9-year-old son saw the shadowy man in the downstairs hallway and he described him just as I saw him years before. That brought back memories of how my son did not want to sleep in his room when he was very small. He always said he did not like the man in the corner...kinda makes sense now. I have always felt a presence in our master bedroom, too, and often that feeling that someone is watching me while I sleep. Sometimes I feel like someone has sat down on the bed. It' never caused harm though. We have had other weird things happen over the years - footsteps, electronics coming on in the middle of the night, etc. I wonder if this is associated with the shadow person or unrelated?? Any ideas??

I am glad to have read this. I have encountered a shadow person about a month ago. I woke up in the middle of the night. I remember that I was sweating terribly and was burning up. I tried to open my eyes and when I did, I saw this figure of a human. It was completely dark and very tall. I know for certain I was not dreaming. I fought will all my might to open my eyes, but couldn't. I tried to move my hands, but alas could not do that either. I was afraid and my eyes would open a bit as I struggled to open them fully. I managed to see that this figure placed it's "hand" on mine, then it slowly moved in toward my face. I know it sounds up most crazy, but this figure breathed on me. After that, it eased back up, my hands flew up suddenly, and my eyes flung wide open. It had disappeared. I do not fear it was evil though, because if it wanted to harm me, it would have. It still leaves me wondering....

I had never really researched this before to be honest I had never heard of it. My son a couple years ago told me he saw a scary man in all black whom made a scary noise and scary face at him. I asked him if he was scard He told me no I just make a scary face back at him. He talked about him for about a week then nothing sense. Well last night my daughter whom is almost 3 wouldn't go to bed she pointed to a dark corner and said she was scared. At that point we didn't know what to think. So we handed her a flashlight and told her to show us where and when she flashed that light over that corner she was horrified. So she came out to the living room with me then told me he was wearing black and he was scary and made a scary noise. Which is all what my son just told me a year and a half ago. Could this be a shadow person can someone please help me. I can't handle seeing my child so scared. She won't even go in her room today. Thank You

i have a different theory on this topic been non religous and when you die you die i see these shadows all the time usally quite tall and i catch them in the corner of my eye then i shiver relook to see who it is and they are not there sometimes in a silver outline. Now my theory is are they life from another planet observing us simply a shadow because they are trying to be invisable probs mean no harm hence going quickly and trying not to be seen and is it possibal that light hits them in such a way that they are not invisable causing a shadow, simple carlessness on their behalf or maybe just saying we are here.

I think that when people are scared they start to see things that arent there out of paranoia and fear but some of your storys have credible proof with several people seeing the figure... Im, crying? I dont feel sad but my eyes are watering like im crying as I read all of the stuff on this website
