I encountered the Grinning Man several times in my childhood, both in dreams and while awake. (Either that or I'm crazy...) My experiences with him were horrifying to say the least, though no actual harm ever came to me.

But he seemed intent on terrifying me to no end. It was like he just enjoyed watching me suffer, like it was some sick game to him. I haven't encountered him in any capacity for well over a decade and I hope it stays that way. Either way, that horrible leering face with its eerie, menacing grin is burned into my mind forever.

I had no idea that there were already documented cases of Grinning Man sightings and didn't find out until I was in my 20s. I thought I was the only one...I will give a more detailed account in the forums when my account is approved.

i saw the grinning man at a skate park behind a ence. the park closed at 8 and it was around 10. so i thought that was weird. as i walked past he had to be 7 feet tall. and had a huge grin like someone cut him ear to ear and filled the cut with teeth. i spirnted home.

The Grinning Man, I've always found that name to be very ironic. It doesn't even know what it's doing. It tries to fit in, only long enough to lock it's gaze upon the unknowing, then it's too late. Remember this, demons don't fit in well amongst humans.

There is a great book called THE GRINNING MAN by AJ DiChiara. It's a novel, and a work of fiction, but on the author's website he says that he based the book (or got the idea fro the book ) on an incident that happened to his sister.
